Merry Christmas and Happy (almost) New Year!
I’m off this week to spend time with the family but I wanted to share a quick round-up of a few of my favorite essays from this year as it draws to a close.
It’s been a fun year of writing for me. Thank you for being here and engaging with my work. I’m grateful for the privilege of writing into your inbox with yet another email each week. I enjoyed taking a look back through the archives and remembering some of the pieces that I enjoyed writing this year.
Looking back, I recognized a few loose themes that I coalesced around this year. No surprises, but I grouped the essays according to these subheadings below in case you want to take a look at a particular topic.
Failure and the Prototyping Mindset
Education and Generative AI
Technology and Human Flourishing
Personal Reflections & Memoirs
In addition, I’ve got a poll below and would love to hear if there is one of these areas you’d like to see more of in 2024.
Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy end to 2023!
Best,
Josh
As always, these weekly newsletters will remain free and available to the public. I’m so grateful for those of you who support my writing as patrons. I’m here regardless, but if you’d like to help me carve out more time and space to write in the coming year (and buy some more coffee for the late-night writing after the kids are down!), consider becoming a patron. If $50/year is too big a commitment, I’ve set up a $25/year option which is good until the end of the year. That’s good for around 3 pounds of green coffee from my go-to source for green coffee beans, Sweet Maria’s. Thanks for reading!
Really enjoyed your writing this year.
